THE VOICE is on the road again… still trying to work that deal in Las Vegas… there is no confirmation of the rumor he is trying to buy a certain hotel and casino near the Strip… but we here he wants to buy the place so he can make its fake volcano bigger… last week he supplied plans for the increased horsepower of the fire and lava, but the airport is filing a complaint that is may interfere with their radar and the flight paths of some of their aircraft… officials from the Nevada Wildlife Bureau have seen the new plans and are afraid the bigger and brighter “volcano” may interfere with migration patterns of most of the birds flying over the state…  as his battle goes forward, THE VOICE has given us this week’s predictions and insights into the world of sports and beyond… SUNDAY NIGHT BASEBALL… NBA PLAYOFFS ODDS… and ARENA FOOTBALL are just part of the story… along with a photojournalism study of some of his CHEERLEADER friends he has met around the country… read and see this week’s contribution from THE VOICE… go to the Brian Smith Radio – World’s Best Sports Pick Page… just click (here)…

TWISTER DAMAGES TWISTER CHASING TRUCK… while tornadoes are causing havoc in the Midwest… more “Storm Chasers” are outfitting vehicles to get close… sometimes TOO CLOSE to weather events best left at a distance… here’s one storm chaser that had better have his AAA card up to date…  see more about it, click (here) for the story from The Weather Channel…and click (here)… from Jalopnik

Have a safe week… before you chase a tornado, check your insurance policy… or use a company car…. thanks for listening… -Brian
