BASKETBALL PRANK GOES BIG-TIME… this story just keeps on going… let me try to explain briefly…
A high school girls’ basketball coach at Olathe Northwest High School in Kansas… was set up at half-time… he was told if he could make a half court shot… blindfolded… the kids would give him free tickets to the Final Four… HERE’S THE PRANK PART: The kids told the crowd to cheer wildly after he made the shot to make him think (while blindfolded) he had put the ball through the net… NEVER THINKING HE WOULD MAKE THE SHOT… well, he did. The kids didn’t have Final Four tickets, but they did buy him a gift certificate to a Mexican Restaurant… here’s the story and video on that, click (here)…
BUT… THE STORY DOESN”T END THERE… no no no…
THE NCAA HEARD ABOUT THIS STORY… well, it was tough not to… it was all over ESPN and ABC the last few days… so… thanks to the NCAA… now the coach and his family have tickets to the Final Four in Indianapolis… in fact, the NCAA is picking up the tab for the whole trip… (you can’t BUY that kind of publicity)… here’s the story on this part of the story… click (here)… and another report (here)…
